Blake's Birthday

This is my little baby Blake when he was maybe a month old......

Now here he is now six years old. I can hardly believe it. The time just flies by. He is such a sweet boy, and I just love him so much.

Sunday

This is just a cute picture Tyler took before church on Sunday.

Blake's accident

Last Friday night we were at a team sort(it's a horse riding thing). It's at a big barn and it has metal bleachers. So the kids were running around playing like they usually do. I had just finished riding my horse and heard a kid just start screaming and crying. Everyone starts running over and I am just hoping it's not my child, but it was Blake. He had ran into the bleachers. I'm not sure exactly what he did, but he managed to hit the front of his face and the back of his head. He split the back open on something sharp. So we took him to the emergency room (my first trip there with one of my kids). He was very brave. He cried a bit when they cleaned it out, but when they did the staples he just squeezed a stuffed rhinoceros the nurse gave him while Tyler held him. He did great. Afterward he acted like nothing had even happened.

If you can't tell there are three staples in his head.

Trick or Treat

So this was the first Halloween we trick or treated around our neighborhood. We usually go around Tyler's grandparent's house. So it was fun to see everyone we know and their kids all dressed up. My kids had so much fun. One house had homemade root beer to hand out, and another had a full sized candy bar with a toothbrush and toothpaste. So it was great!
Here they are all ready to go trick or treating.
Blake probably had the best time. He wanted to keep going to get the most candy possible.

Kenzee was tired and wanted to go home by the end. She had a hard time keeping up.

I just pushed Lyla around in her stroller, so she had it pretty easy. She just picked out a candy and put it in her bag. She loved it.

Halloween Carnival

So my ward had a Halloween Carnival last night. I got a couple pictures of my kid's in their costumes before we went. Blake is Darth Vader, Kenzee is of course Cinderella, and little Lyla is Tinkerbell.

This is the happiest she was all night.

They had a chili cook off before the kids went in the church for the carnival. So I give Lyla a bite and she spits it out right on her costume. Great!

I don't think her smile could get any bigger than that.

On the way home Blake and Kenzee were eating some pixi sticks from the carnival.

This was pretty much Lyla's attitude the whole evening. She was not very happy.

FHE fun!

So for family home evening we decided to make a Gingerbread Haunted Castle for Halloween. So here's Blake and Kenzee after we first got the walls put together

This is Lyla of course running around while we decorated the castle.

This is just a fun picture of my three.

They are so proud of their castle decorating.

This is the beautiful finished product.

Cowboy Blake

These are some pictures of my cowboy Blake. MJ is taking a photography class and took some pictures for me. So I dressed Blake in his cowboy hat, shirt, wranglers, belt buckle, and spurs. What a stud!
