Blake Lost His First Tooth

Last Sunday morning just before church Blake lost his first tooth. It was so ready to come out and instead of continuing to wiggle it he decided to give it a tug. Then it just popped right out. It was pretty funny.

Reflections

There was an art contest called Reflections at Blake's school. Blake drew a picture for it and got an Honorable Mention Award. Here are some pictures of the awards ceremony with his metal.

Halloween Week

Here's Blake as Snake Eyes the ninja on Halloween night.

Here's Kenzee as Barbie as Thumbelina and Lyla as a chicken. They had so much fun trick or treating that night. One house had a haunted house in their garage that scared Kenzee pretty bad, but she still loved getting the candy.

The kids had a Halloween Parade at their school one morning. They walked around the track two times. It was very cold that morning. The kids didn't care though. Here's Kenzee with her cousin Payton right behind her.

One night that week we had a ward carnival. The kids played games and got candy. So we got a few uses out of the costumes.

NFL Flag Football

Blake played flag football this year. His team was called the Bengals. He had a great time.

I got Blake and Kenzee's school pictures the other day and I thought they turned out pretty cute.

First Day of School

Here's Kenzee on her first day of Kindergarten. She loves going to school.

Finally, here's Blake on his first day of 1st grade. He doesn't like school at all. He would rather be at home playing.

Kenzee's Surgery

Kenzee had her surgery to remove a dermoid from her nose on July 25th. Everything went good until they took her away to be put under. The nurse took her and she was kicking and screaming so it was kind of traumatic for her. It is healing and she's doing great now.

4th of July and Kolob

On the 4th of July we went up to Kolob for the Blake family get together.

Kenzee's 5th Birthday

Last June 3rd Kenzee had her 5th birthday so here's her party. She wanted a Barbie ice cream cake.

End of Year School Programs

Blake did a Nursery Rhymes program to end his Kindergarten Year.

Kenzee's preschool class did a program but she didn't want to participate. So this is her and us watching.

Cruise to Catalina

Tyler and I went on a cruise to Catalina Island. We had a great time. The ship had such great soft serve ice cream. It's not even funny how much of it I ate.

So here I am driving the golf cart around Catalina. That was one of my favorite parts of the trip besides the ice cream.

Blake and Baseball

Blake played Coach pith baseball last May. He did really good. He hit the ball almost everytime he got up to bat. It's so fun to watch. He didn't like being out in the field that much, but he loves to hit. I didn't get any good shots of him playing, but here's some of him in his uniform. Also there's a couple pics of the girls at the games.

EASTER '09

These first two pictures are of Blake, Kenzee, and Lyla doing an Easter Egg Hunt at a family party.

These next two pictures are of Kenzee and Lyla having a donut in a contest at the family party. They are both cheating since they aren't supposed to use their hands.
